100 Marketers Give 100 Strategies - Recommended!
Before I get into the meat here, I’d like to shout out a huge thank you to Pete Belanger of Home Made Online Income for the opportunity of this review opportunity he has presented me with. (The grammar sounds iffy, but there it is.)
Please allow me to start with a little story…
You see, ‘Ol Pete emailed me the first week of April to apologize for not being around the blog so much, and went on to explain that he had been in the shadows working on a “secret project”.
Uh huh yea Pete, whatever.
He then went on to ask if I would like an advanced “review copy” of a brand new ebook he had just finished that would shatter the universe!
Well woop de-do, another earth shattering ebook that’s gonna make me millions; *sigh*, sure Pete why not, I like freebies as much as the next…
HAHA OK so I’m obviously having a little fun at Pete here; he can take it
. Although if it was someone I didn’t already know I’m pretty sure those would have been my initial thoughts. We’ve all had them, and I’m sure some of you are thinking them now…I hope to dispel those thoughts, because you really shouldn’t miss this opportunity.
The truth of the matter is, once Pete told me the premise of the book I couldn’t wait to see it. As it turns out he took a totally unique route (unique to me anyway) to do an “interview” style book. That may be a little misleading, but the only way I could think to describe it…for one thing, he appears no where in the book!
Here’s the real story behind it…..
Pete’s a Warrior, and no I don’t mean he wears face paint with a mask while carrying a big stick (although, I suppose one never really knows). I mean he’s a member of the warrior forum. For those who don’t know of this forum, you’ve either been online for a total of 5 minutes or you really need to get out of your own blog a little more often.
Often feared by the newbie, this forum is chuck FULL of seasoned marketers ranging just about every niche you can possibly imagine. Pete is merely one of nearly 100,000 members to this forum, and now he’s truly taken things a step further…..a B I G step further.
Are ya ready? Ya sure? Got a glass of water and nestled in your chair or bed or couch or…?
Somehow he managed to bind and gag 100, yep ONE HUNDRED, top warriors and got them to each spill ONE STRATEGY each, and step-by-step at that! All compiled nice and tidy into a MASSIVE 413 page ebook with NO FLUFF in between.
Hmm, wait a sec. 100 tipsters divided by 413 pages; what does that say? That says that these are NOT your average “go get lots of traffic” type tips.
Know what I like most? A LOT. Two things actually… Out of all 100 names, I recognize maybe a tiny handful of “guru’s”. Most (to me) are regular Joe’s and Jane’s like you and I who did what they did and do what they do everyday as full time marketers and are now able to share (generously) some of that knowledge.
I said NO FLUFF and I meant it. This thing don’t even have an Intro or Conclusion! LOL No lie. Directly following the copyright hoopla he goes straight into the list of names and what they cover individually and then just goes right into them…when the last tip concludes that’s the end of the book.
Sweet! Yep I like it. A LOT.
413 pages of strategies, tried, tested and proven solid; given by those that perform them on a daily basis and live happily doing so.
I could go on and on but I won’t. I’m not here to “sell”, I’m here to recommend what I believe can help. I recommend this book to you. I highly recommend this book to you. If you don’t know me well yet, others can say that does actually mean something. lol. I do not recommend easily. Like you, I work too damn hard building and keeping my good name and credibility.
Now you have just 6 simple steps.
1. Click through to 100WarriorsAmbushTheWeb (catchy huh?).
2. Check out the lengthy list of warriors and the topics they cover.
3. Decide it WILL be better all around for your business to own this massive compilation.
4. Scroll to the bottom. Check out the nifty bonus package and click one of the cool blue links; or colored button, whichever. (See #5)
5. Of UTMOST IMPORTANCE! Be sure when clicking shiny buttons or links that you use the really generous 50% off coupon code that Pete has given us - AVY0AL - that’s A V Y O A L, in all one word.
On top of that, I’m throwing in my own bonus out of pocket cash back incentive. The first 100 buyers get and additional $25 refund from ME personally, after Pete’s 30 day money back guarantee has expired
.
6. After you purchase, tell me you purchased. I’d really like to keep in touch and maybe discuss some of the awesomeness in the book. This is also called “accountability” to make sure you actually READ the book you just paid good money for.
Whatcha waitin’ for, start learnin’!
Dennis

@Hilary-packaging supplier,
Absolutely. This is an AWESOME package, but even after the 50% off, I realize it may be a little too high for some.

Very very nearly sold. I love the idea behind the book, and will most likely end up kicking myself for not thinking of it first. Sounds very accessible and here I go now to check it out…

@Matty Byloos,
“will most likely end up kicking myself for not thinking of it first.”
Oh man, that hit me like a friggin brick very early on. lol
From what I understand it took him quite a while to do, but he put it together very well.
Don’t forget the coupon code and be sure to let me know afterward. I haven’t gotten through half of them myself, but it is extremely promising so far.

@Dennis Edell, Incurring some moving costs in the next couple of weeks, unfortunately, so I’m going to have to hold off for May but it seems spot on and insightful. Maybe if your readers weigh in, and you post about it (make a discussion out of it on your site?) we’ll all stay reminded and then I can pull the trigger in a bit.

@Matty Byloos,
99% of the time waiting is a bad idea. That’s about the percentage of people that never go back. (Legit money issues aside.) lol
That said though, could you explain that a little more please. I was planning on buyer feedback which is why I added the clause of telling me after purchase.
What type of discussion do you mean exactly?
Matty Byloos Reply:
April 27th, 2009 at 12:56 pm
@Dennis Edell, Oh - sure. Might be nice if your readers buy and weigh in. Like, do a post from your vantage point on maybe the most important points, the best 5 interviews, the 10 one liners from the book that stand out the most. Then ask your readers in the comments section to give their opinion on the same issue you discuss in the post. Could generate some nice commentary feedback for a couple of months, even, and remind us all to get the book if we haven’t already at that point.

@Get free stuff, I was kind of wondering myself if there was a payout to each interviewee, and if so, how was it estimated exactly what the book would sell for in order to turn a profit, or if each interviewee agreed to do it just based on the publicity. Maybe they were just conducted via email and didn’t get compensated at all? I’d think the author would have to let them know how their words would be used to make money…

@Matty Byloos,
From what I understand there are 2 main benefits to the interviewee (sp?).
First of course is the exposure; that would be (or should be) #1.
Second would be them being “first crack exclusive affiliates” during pre-launch - WITH a higher commission rate.
Matty Byloos Reply:
April 27th, 2009 at 1:41 pm
@Dennis Edell, That makes sense. The more I think about it, if the book is a smashing success, which there is no reason (aside from the normal marketing challenge of getting it out there) why it shouldn’t be, the exposure could be huge. HUGE!

@almir,
I get your cynicism, really I do. I can honestly say though, the marketers in this book are NOT fluffing it up.
At 3+ pages each these boys and girls are doing what good marketers do - 1 strategy each, step by step.
Is there work involved? Absolutely!.

@almir, Using the 50% off code in the review brings it initially to about $97 up front. Then after the initial refund period is over, assuming you don’t ask for a refund, then I give another $25 back from myself…..when all is said and done the book will have cost about $72.

What a cool way to create a high value ebook without coming up with anything of value yourself (beside the idea of cause).
That idea can easily be used in every thinkable niche there is.

Hey Guys, Pete from the 100WarriorsAmbushTheWeb project here…
(Warning, Long Reply
)
Some of you had some very interesting questions and comments and I thought that maybe I could give you some answers and replies “from the inside” of this amazing collaboration project… but first, I would like to thank Dennis for his review and now it’s my turn to have a bit of fun at his expense!
@Dennis and I quote: “another earth shattering ebook that’s gonna make me millions; *sigh*, sure Pete why not, I like freebies as much as the next…”
To be blunt here Dennis, I think you’ve hit it right on the head with YOUR INTERPRETATION
… BUT… you forgot to mention that it will take some WORK and some Taking Action!
This is definitely NOT a get rich quick type of offer/package but a resource, that USED RIGHT, WILL allow you to make things happen that you’ve maybe just dreamed of… or read about… and the keyword there is USED…
When you have folks like Willie Crawford, Eric Holmlund, Yaro Starac, David Preston, Andrew Cavanagh, Jeff Dedrick, Reed Floren (and I could keep going and going and going) that offer startegies that are Tried, Tested and Proven, you still have to add the YOU element to it and Take Action… these guys can’t do it for you!
But if you Do Take Action, I sincerely think that anybody can do this and experience the success that they are entitled to and that could very well change their life!!!
OK now… I’ll cut Dennis some slack, he gave me a pretty favorable review after all!
In response to some of your questions and comments…
@Hilary-packaging supplier… that’s right Hilary, Dennis asked if it was alright if he gave an additional discount to his readers because he wanted to make this even more accessible to you guys… and I think that is awesome!!!
@Matty Byloos… even though I think scarcity tactics work very well Online, I didn’t want to use it for this product because I felt that it should be accessible to folks that live “situations” that would prevent them from buying when it launches but were interested… so no stress Matty, it WILL be available if you are interested in the future (make sure to keep Dennis’s 50% discount code, it will still be good when you are ready!)
quote”will most likely end up kicking myself for not thinking of it first”
the cool thing about this Online stuff is that you don”t necessarily need to come up with it first… like @Mikael said, this model can be duplicated in pretty much any niche and can be easily “spinned” and “twisted”!!
@Dennis quote”From what I understand it took him quite a while to do, but he put it together very well.”
Thanks Dennis and yes, almost 4 months!!!!
Getting the first 80 contributions was a walk in the park compared to the last 20! Getting them to signup was the easy part, getting the contributions submitted needed a bit of reminding
quote @Get free stuff…”I wonder what he told them for them to agree to reveal their secrets to him.”
quote @Dennis…”First of course is the exposure; that would be (or should be) #1.
Second would be them being “first crack exclusive affiliates” during pre-launch - WITH a higher commission rate.”
Dennis is right with his #1 and half of #2… Obviously, I needed a very strong “what’s in it for me” to not only get them on board but to contribute quality strategies… so yes, I believe exposure is the no.1 reason for them. Just imagine the contributing line-up each mailing their respective lists… we are talking serious numbers here!
Dennis is also right (well half right) on #2… contributors had first shot at this and the affiliate program was only opened to them for the pre-launch period…. but they didn’t get higher commission rates… affiliates ALL get the same %
@Mikael quote”What a cool way to create a high value ebook without coming up with anything of value yourself (beside the idea of cause).”
You are dead on with your comment Mikael… and I know that you all read that this Internet stuff is a BIG part about building relationships and leveraging… I guess we could call this, taking it to a whole other level!!!
Alright guys, this reply is getting way long… but if you read this far, I thank you! I had a blast putting this thing together… I met amazing people that really do care about the information they put out there and are REALLY not there just for the money… they really want to help people be successful Online!
And I seriously think Dennis is that kind of guy also… you know for a fact that he’s not just trying to make a few bucks and I respect that… A LOT!
If you decide to grab this resource, PLEASE don’t forget to use Dennis’s 50% Off Code: AVY0AL so he gets credited for it and you can rest assured that if ever it’s “Just Not For You” (although 0 chargebacks and refunds to date) you’ll get an immediate refund NO QUESTIONS ASKED… for real!!! Dennis has my main email address, so either let him know or contact me directly and it will be issued Instantly!
My Kindest Regards,
Pete

@Pete from Home Made Online Income, Thanks for coming by Pete! Stick around, this should get good.
you forgot to mention that it will take some WORK and some Taking Action!
Something we should never forget! I’ve been wanting to purchase a printer for some time. I’m going to the first week of May and start with this book…read each one a couple times and see if I can’t put it to use!
Dennis is also right (well half right) on #2… contributors had first shot at this and the affiliate program was only opened to them for the pre-launch period…. but they didn’t get higher commission rates… affiliates ALL get the same %
My bad, sorry about that. Usually (from what I’ve seen) pre-launchers get a higher rate incentive as well. of course, that may be if the creators themselves think the product really needs the extra incentive. LOL Which this doesn’t.
If you decide to grab this resource, PLEASE don’t forget to use Dennis’s 50% Off Code: AVY0AL so he gets credited for it…
Never mind my credit, why pay more when you don’t have too?

All right Dennis. We expect a follow-up book review covering how reading and implementing the strategies in this ebook benefit us.
Yes, I know WE ought to be able to figure that out ourselves; however, your regular readers are not the only ones reading this post or who will find your follow-up post.
Focusing on benefits is the number one most important copywriting tip. You have to provide the answer to “What’s in it for the reader” to convert readers into buyers.

Seriously though, no worries, there will be more then one follow up post.
The one potential “flaw” is the actual strategies can (and will not) be revealed…otherwise you might as well give the book away.

Hey Dennis…I bet this is a great book with so many experts gathered together! Just got past my son’s 17th birthday that broke the bank, but considering purchasing with the next payday!
Question: When we purchase, do we also get reprint rights or at least the opportunity to package as gift with other offers as Pete has?

I know you have affiliate privileges right off the bat, but I don’t think it’ll be a “freebie” for quite some time as it just launched.
In Pete’s package the other offers are the freebies; you’re paying for the book….you might be able to do that (like my additional refund offer), I’ll ask.
Remember though, Pete wrote it, he can do whatever he wants with it. lol
Shoot me an email to remind me, that’s good question.

Great find, Dennis, and a very nice review. I’m in the same boat as Sire right now, though, so I’ll have to keep the memory of this book in my mind and come back to it in the future. Yea, I’ll lose that $25, but I just don’t want something else sitting here that I don’t have time to get to.
I did go look at it, though.
