  • 7 Ways To Boost Sales

    There are of course many many many more than 7, so this will be a quickie but goodie. As you should have noticed by now, we have and will discuss many more…

    1. Publish testimonials you receive - whether it’s for both your paid or your free stuff. This is something a lot of folks overlook; if you publish testimonials you receive for your freebies, it will increase their value; and if they’re viral marketing tools, you’ll have more people giving them away.

    2. Give your visitors an enjoyable visit - They’ll want to return again and again! Use a few jokes, humorous graphics, funny stories and so forth. Just make sure not to go too far off topic of your site as this can confuse and bewilder the visitor, which will defeat the purpose.

    3. Build rapport with your potential customers - Teach them something new… Provide them with free ebooks, articles, tips, courses, etc. You get the idea. This is very important, not only will they come back but they will recommend those they know and trust to others.

    4. Allow your visitors to collect things from your web site - They will stop back again and again. It can be a series of software, ebooks or articles or whatever you wish.

    5. Build a directory of freebies - It will draw tons of traffic to your web site and you can request that submitters place your link on their web site.

    6. Create traffic generators - Visitors can add things from your site to theirs, without doing all the wok themselves. It can be an article directory, a freebie directory, a special web tool, or anything else you can think up.

    7. Challenge your visitors to buy your product or service - This is a great idea, people love a good challenge and it gets them thinking. Tell them if they can find a flaw or problem of some kind with your product (that they didn’t create), you’ll give them a full refund.

      I think you first point outshine the others.. In programs like FreeViral, they just give some great tools free of charge just because you give them kudos for their stuff..

      True enough, but be careful with testimonials you use…1st rule: make sure they’re *real*.

      I along with many others have gotten wise pretty quick to the “guru” style testimonial page….all the same faces and you KNOW it’s bogus.

      You have some very good ideas here, thanks for sharing!
      I would say 1 big point is missing, which is “Take Action and Do it Now!! … so many of us get stuck into reading and learning, reading even more on how-to-do things and then, in the end, their mind is blown away and they miss out on the first most important step, which is actually taking action!

      Glad you explained #7 a bit better, because I wasn’t understanding it initially. In essence, you’re saying to give a full refund guarantee, which works for many folks. Heck, I just want to get someone to buy something first, then I’ll worry about it later on. lol

      @Mitch, Absolutely, and I believe that 100% for physical products…the refund thing gets a little complicated with downloadable merchandise.
