It's free and I even was able to use my actual picture (head shot) on my personal blog. The online generator is at http://www.favicon.co.uk/ It's not my site and I don't know the owner, I just have it bookmarked. I used my personal blog with this post if you want to see the Favicon I generated with that site. All you have to do is create a 16x16px .jpg image and then use the generator to convert it to an .ico image. Congratulations Mirjam, nice job.
