Blog Review: Thou Shall Blog Dot Com
This review is in congratulations to Yan for winning my first contest. My apologies for not getting to it until now…..I guarantee though, it is worth the wait. *wink*
What can I say about Yan Susanto that you can’t already read about. The man is definitely a force to be reckoned with in the blogging community.
I don’t mean this in a “problogger” kinda way (although he does blog full time) but in my opinion, he has one of the most helpful and useful blogs out there……and NO *attitude*, which is extremely important!
You see, Yan (also known as the smiling blogger) runs ThouShallBlog.com, which is quoted as, and certainly is Blogging Tips for Beginners.
He’s got a lot to smile about. Let’s take a small clip right from his about page (linked above)…
“This blog is dedicated to helping you learn all the basic blogging tips that will help to shorten your learning curve. It aims to be a melting pot for all beginners to share their experiences and create an open community for discussion to any subject related to blogging.”
Honestly? There is not a whole lot I can add to that. That’s EXACTLY what his blog is all about.
He’ll help you from the very beginning…before you even have a blog! How you ask?
With his Free Wordpress Install Service! He knows his stuff; he’s helped me with a few technical issues.
Once your blog is up and running, he’ll give you tips that truly cover blogging from A to Z.
I know this because as far as I’m concerned, he’s written the definitive A-Z Blogging Guide for Beginners!
It’s got to be one of THE best all-purpose “tip guides” I’ve read to-date, and I read A LOT of blogs. LOL
I’m sure a bunch of bloggers would have turned it into a report and tried to sell it…that says a lot for Yans charachter in my book.

Indeed a good review…I like Yan’s blog as well. The design has sort of a “sacred scrolls/Biblical document” thing going on.

I’ve been to the site a time or two in the past, but am not a frequent visitor…yet
He certainly does have some great tips and information.
I’m going to take this opportunity to criticize you a bit though, Dennis. Was this a review or a sales pitch? If it were a review, I would expect a few negatives and rankings/ratings/comments on different aspects of the site

Seriously though, as it states in my get reviewed page I do give total honestly…good bad ugly…if I had personally found any, I would have.
A little depressing that I didn’t, now that I think about it. LOL
Granted, I’m not thrilled with the font over the sidebar widgets, but if that’s my ONLY complaint…..seems a little nit-picky, dontcha think?

Yans’ blog is full of useful tips, those ones you posted links to have helped me greatly! I was sceptical at first as it seemed Yan was one of the ‘gurus’, and I hate the stuff churned out by them, so I was put off for a long time, but I’m happy to say I’m a Yan convert!

Yan always delivers quality content and that’s something I admire from him. A lot of bloggers will accept posting a crappy post once in a while, but it doesn’t seems to happen with yan!

The fact that you didn’t charge is what makes people want to stay. And certainly what makes you different from just about any “guru”. 
*sigh* Threaded comments is coming with the stable version of WP 2.7 (assuming there is such a thing). I’m really trying not to add what will (soon?) be unnecessary plugins. LOL

Ya I like reading his blog. His blog is really an active one. I mean to say his blog gets lots of comments(good one). If you see, his every article has any average of something 50-60 comments which is really a great thing.
