EVERYTHING has been copied over to DennisEdell.com…posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags; all of it.

It’s all sitting in draft mode waiting to be republished one by one.

This is an awesome strategy for both of us! I get to do the SEO correctly on each post right from the jump, and you get a second chance to view articles you may have missed the first time around. OR an opportunity to add more insight to posts you may have already commented on here.

Yes indeed boys and girls, I’m just optimizing a plugin or two which I need from the get-go and then you will be asked to kindly move. In fact, everything here is already copied over to the new blog!

Hey everyone, I thought this was a pretty cool weekend type post, as most will have more time to look things over. I hope no one minds getting this; I’m simply helping a friend…actually helping a friend who’s helping a friend…

My friend Alan from Replace Your Salary is helping his friend Tanny sell her home business site by spreading the word. I don’t know Tanny, but I have known Alan for some time and I’m a firm advocate for marketers/bloggers doing right by the same.

Long story short - Alan’s post on the sale is here, and the actual auction is here.  Pay close attention to the stats; I don’t know much about site sales, but the numbers do look like a steal for the right buyer .

Many of you know by now that I do LOTS of blog commenting. I’ve also always been a big advocate for having an advertising page if you plan to sell ads; now I’m not so sure.

While doing my own commenting I always try to read as many of the comments already there, before leaving my own. (Good advice in itself, soon to be a post as well.)

While recently reading an article entitled, Banish Low Balling Ads To Earn More With Your Blog on HowToSpotter, one of the comments really caught my eye.

Pat from Make Money Fast, wrote the following:

Only thing I’d add to this is I’ve found that with an advertise page you could be limiting yourself. For instance, Microsoft contacts you when you have an open spot and you have it listed for $35 then they can pay ten times that much. But if Joe Schmo blog finds you on the advertise page then they can only page that much.

You may or may not know this, but my very first venture into the online marketing realm started in forums and quickly became my favorite. Oh yea, I became quite addicted, quite quickly; I was everywhere…..if you think I comment on many blogs, you should have seen my forum post counts all over the net.

Anyhoo, a year or two or so ago (hey that rhymed!), I became quite overwhelmed with it all. That combined with getting completely fed up with one forum altogether (yea Pete, that one), led me to abandon them completely…

…well, it’s time to go back. For the most part, they were good to me, and there’s no place like ‘em for helping others. This time though, I will do it right. One or two Internet marketing forums, one or two affiliate marketing forums, and a bunch of direct sales forums, since that is my main bread and butter as it were.

UPDATE! - WOW I hope you all are as seriously blown away as I am. Before I even had a chance to promote this post, one of our fellow blogger/marketers and a truly awesome person, Pete from Home Made Online Income,  has stepped up to try and help both me and YOU.

If you’re using Adsense, no doubt you would have seen a little section that speaks about your ‘CTR’. Your CTR is a very important part of  Adsense and for many people determines whether they make a little or a lot by using the program. This article will show you the three main tips for increasing your CTR and earning more through Adsense.

What is CTR?
CTR stands for ‘Click Through Rate’. This basically indicates what percentage of your visitors click one of the Adsense adverts. So if, for example, you get one hundred visitors and four clicks, you’ll have a CTR of 4%.

Oh did I think a few times on that headline. It’s a little long, and it could definitely lead readers to think one thing when it’s another altogether. Under the circumstances though, it gets my point across; you’ll see. I assure you, it is not referring to this or anyone of my sites .

If you’re over the age of 5, you’ve heard of Google (computers in kindergarten classes). If you’ve been marketing for more then 5 minutes, you’ve most likely heard of “bad neighborhoods” and the Google concern.

I think most would agree, porn is the baddest of the bad when it comes to ‘net neighborhoods. ALL in the know would also agree that a non-porn site should never link to a porn site…it’s just bad business all around, right?

Threaded Comments is a truly awesome invention ain’t it? It encourages easy to implement reply comments from not just the blog admin, but from other readers as well; a true community type atmosphere indeed!

I was a little late to the game, but when I finally got it, they were truly appreciated by all; especially me! Now I wonder why all bloggers with over a certain amount of comments per post don’t use it.

Top Commenter is another amazing addition to any blog, yes? Encouraging comments, replies, replies to replies and so on; much like threaded comments, but with one ultimate goal…..to be #1! It’s also quite awesome for contests. Hehe.
