DSWM Monthly Post RoundUp APRIL
This is where I pick what I (and you judging by comments) think are the best posts to recap for the month past. It helps new readers with a quick and recent “Best Of” glance, and allows regulars to view those they missed or wanted to recap. It’s also another awesome internal linking strategy.
I may or may not include ALL the posts for the month, so you are free to check the blog archives.
1. UPDATED! Opening INTERNAL Links- New Window or Same Window? (32) I asked the eternal question, which do you prefer? You may still weigh in if you haven’t already, but considering the split I believe I will keep ALL links opening in a separate window. Newbies that don’t know the “tricks” appreciate it and those that do know shouldn’t really care either way
.
2. How I Publish Guest Posts (36) A much needed late post from the emails I received (sorry about that). If you’re a wannabe guest here or already are and wondering where it is, this explains it. I will also add it to my Guest Bloggers page, which explains everything else
.
3. 9 Qualities You Should Find In A Good Web Designer (44) - An excellent guest post from James King. If you or someone you know is in need of a good designer but confused on what to look for/ask about; read these points before getting ripped off.
4. Blog Readers or Twitter Followers - What’s YOUR Preference? (66) - Based off a post from problogger (he’s got graphs), I thought it was a nifty question to ask. The comments are a lot more detailed then I expected; definitely worth a look!
5. Understanding The New Rules Of SEO (189) - Another superb guest post, this time by Nicolas Prudhon. For a sneak peak into how SEO is NOW this is a must read. This article should rein supreme atop my Most Popular Article list for some time, be sure to see what he’s got to say and get in your 2cents!
6. Scamming Top Commenter Lists With Threaded Comments (86) It seems human spammers have found a new home…or so they think.
7. Business Mentors, Advisers & Coaches (37) Are you one? Do you have one? Do you have advise on finding one?
8. 100 Marketers Give 100 Strategies - Recommended! (24) Still quite recommended!
OK then, that’s about it for April; goes by quick don’t it? As always individual post comments are to be left on the individual posts, not below; this saves confusion. Any comments for this post as a whole, leave below.
Remember, the March comment contest ends sometime tonight!

Now that’s what I call an information-packed round up! The posts are really worth reading and the insights by different people really make the conversations interesting. My favorite has got to be the one on Blog Readers or Twitter Followers. Looking forward to tons more of interesting and helpful stuff from you. Thanks!

i actually like for my links to open up in the same window so it goes to the direct source and if they were interested in going back to your website they can just click back on the browser to return to the previous website they were checking out.
