What?!?! You’re not interested in $100 CASH or a TON of prizes??

OK today’s post is not JUST a brag post about reaching the 200 mark (small dance, woohoo!) but a lesson for all, including myself.

You may recall the happy dance we did together when I hit the 100 subscriber mark on November 5th 2008. This post may be a wee late, but I first noticed 202 subscribers on January 7th, this year.

If you really want to break it down, that’s approximately 12 subs per week…not to shabby, eh? Although I never really looked that closely. What’s my secret formula? Well, unless you live in a bubble I really shouldn’t have to tell you, but I will .

OK so everyone else already did there page rank update posts; what the hell, dare to be different, right? Anyway, I’m happy .

I blogged after the last one back in September about going from 3 to 2 and the reason I thought it happened. Now I got my 3 back and I have YOU to thank for it! All of your very generous outgoing links to me and ULTRA generous blog comments definitely contributed to me raising back up a point; thanks!

Tip: For those that may not realize it, blog comments are Google feeding content just like anything else!

I haven’t checked ALL my inner pages yet, but three of my most popular scored a 2! Another scored a 0, which is different from nothing at all. (Ask if you dare, but it’ll give you a headache.) Hopefully those will score more next time.

Hello all!

First, sincerest apologies for not posting in about a week. I’m still hard at work on that blog project I’ve spoken about. I’m hoping to be able to announce/launch it next week…it’s lookin’ good so far

Now then, a brand new feature here starting this coming Monday, the 30th. At the beginning/end of each month I will be recapping each and every post from the previous month (or at least the best ones) with a link and small caption.

This is a little different then most of the other “link round-up” posts I see, as this is all internal. A good bunch of the ones I see are all external, wherein bloggers give the love and link-out to the posts they come across on other blogs. Also an excellent practice, which I’ll get more into another time.

Why is this something all Bloggers should consider? Just a few ideas (in no real particular order)…..

The debate rages on! OK, maybe not that intensely but it will be a “back & forth” for a long long time to come. Should you use a real name or “pen” name, when doing business online? Especially with article writing…

Some will say that fake names are better for a variety or reasons, such as; it’s harder for your competition to find you or they’re afraid people might not take them seriously because there name is Becki or Bobbi or Chrissy, etc etc, you get the idea.

To this I say BAH!…

I am one that disagrees wholeheartedly with using “pen” or fake names. Now, I’m not saying these fears are foolish or stupid, they truly believe them, and from time to time they may run across it; BUT, these folks are not looking at the BIG PICTURE…
