Today however I’m putting a different call out. Most of you know now, that I currently have two other blogs, DennisEdell.com, my personal blog and EasyCashContests, my contest blog with a somewhat unique USP (Unique Selling Point).

There is currently one post on each blog to which I would like MORE thoughts. Since I currently have decisively more readers here then on either blog, my hope is that some of you will slide ovr and leave your mark . CommentLuv abounds there as it does here.

Being my first blog of a personal nature, I sometimes draw a blank as to what readers really want. I realize I can basically do whatever the hell I want with it, and have indeed stated that on my about page, lol. But still, since I already know about me and mine, I’d like an inkling of what actual readers would like to read…

If you aren’t already aware, guest blogging (writing blog articles for other blogs) is an awesome way to gain attention for your own blog. The “trick” is you have to be willing to “give up” some of your best work. You can’t simply write any ‘ole garbage, slap your name on it and expect the traffic to pour in. Even if the host blogger accepts it (which he/she shouldn’t), it can do you more harm then good.

I say “give up” in quotes because I hate the phrase, but that thinking is what stops most from guest blogging. You’re not giving up anything. Do it correctly, and you can only GAIN. Gain visitors, readers, and ultimately SUBSCRIBERS.

1. Write an awesome article; if you honestly think it is, then the blog host should also.

2. Seek bloggers with a decent readership. I say at least 100-200 subscribers, but others may have varying opinions.

Hello all, it’s been about a week since my last post where I discussed merging blogs.

At the tail end of that post, I hinted to the fact that I would have to spend a little time playing catch-up from my sudden 2month disappearance.

Well here we are. I’ve been home a little over 2 weeks and madly catching up. I think I’ve done well so far with lots of internal touch-ups complete (you may or may not notice those), and three new pages I needed to do!

I’m still not “done” (are we ever?) but going along reasonably smoothly.

Now it’s those three new pages I would like to point your attention too…
