You Have Spoken - I Have Listened. We Will Have Us An All-In-One Blog Again.

MarketingMarketingI have spent a lot of time talking to a great many of you since I declared that I was tightening focus and splitting into a network of “elementary” Blogs.

My friend Katy Castro recently wrote about transitioning a niche blog, and one of the main points was Communicating With Readers, and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing.

Through comments, emails, messenger chat, and even phone conversations, the majority percentage of you really did not like the idea.

You were afraid I may ignore the other aspects, not cover them as thoroughly as I should or once did, etc etc. I can assure you this would not have been the case.

However, what’s the #1 rule for ANY business? Listen To Your People. (A slightly less obnoxious way to say “the customer is always right”.) It is very true.

Whether they are website/blog readers, customers, clients, or whatever…without them you have NOTHING.

Wondering What Your Readers Want? Let Them Skribit!

feedback.jpgfeedback.jpgEvery blogger wants to know the one and only true *secret*. “How do I know what my readers want to read?” The simplest and best way is to just let them tell you.

Learn a very cool, easy and free way to connect with your readers and learn EXACTLY what they want…

It’s called Skribit and allows you very simply to find out exactly what your readers want to read…no magic involved.

It’s an awesome looking tool for gathering and prioritizing the marketing topics you want me to write about here on D.S.W.M.

The whole idea is that YOU as a reader can now add your questions/suggestions right on the widget and also vote up the ones that others have added. This in turn helps me know which are the main questions or concerns y’all may want me to address.
