    CommentLuv is Back! H U G E Thank You’s To It’s Tireless Creator!

    We’re back in business baby!

As it turns out, it was my Social Bookmarks plugin that did the dirty deed! Apparently it uses the scriptalicious library which is known to interfere with jquery.

I installed that just one day before installing the other 2 plugins I mentioned. After hearing this, I did go back over the comments in between and noticed only a couple had CL links attached.

I suppose it started failing immediately and ended completely around the time the other two were installed. Oops, but a good assumption at the time.

I’m not sad the other two are gone though, they were giving me issues on their own as well.

Now I have to look for another social icon plugin that does not use either scriptalicious or effects.js.

Any ideas? Ah well, I’m just happy as a clam to have my comment baby back! (I know you are too ;) )

50 Social Bookmarking Sites. What Are The Top 5-10 Most Popular?

    Hello everyone, how are ya?

This is not the same as asking about your favorite Social Networking sites. Now I’m asking what your opinion is on the most poplular Social Bookmarking sites are overall.

You see, I’m switching out my ShareThis plugin, for this one.

It has come to my attention (and really should have been obvious), that more readers will bookmark a post if it’s easier to do so.

Having to click a link, then push the button, clearly isn’t easiest. Duh me. So I’m going with one that automatically shows the icons (with the option to hide behind a link).

This one is very cool as it comes preloaded with 50 - f i f t y - sites. There also in-lies the problem. As you can see below this post, 50 is clearly too intrusive and unnecessary.

Guest Post: DaBlogger Tells His Experiences with Social Bookmarking

The following guest post is from Andy, who writes for and manages DaBlogger.com. What I like most is the fact that he writes it all from Personal Experience as you will see. This is after all, the best way to write an article when applicable :) .

In the past few years, I have watched many social bookmarking sites grow and have huge effects on the internet. Many people don’t realize that they can use these sites to promote their own sites and get vast returns. Below are benefits that I have seen these sites have on other websites.

    #1 - Instant Traffic
Social bookmarking sites can give your site an instant traffic boost. Getting one link of homepages of digg, StumbleUpon, del.icio.us or any other bookmarking site can give me huge traffic boosts.

Most traffic will be targeted since your post will be under specific categories and you can attach keywords to your posts.
