  • What Is Your Favorite/The Best Affiliate Marketing Forums?

    You may or may not know this, but my very first venture into the online marketing realm started in forums and quickly became my favorite. Oh yea, I became quite addicted, quite quickly; I was everywhere…..if you think I comment on many blogs, you should have seen my forum post counts all over the net.

    Anyhoo, a year or two or so ago (hey that rhymed!), I became quite overwhelmed with it all. That combined with getting completely fed up with one forum altogether (yea Pete, that one), led me to abandon them completely…

    …well, it’s time to go back. For the most part, they were good to me, and there’s no place like ‘em for helping others. This time though, I will do it right. One or two Internet marketing forums, one or two affiliate marketing forums, and a bunch of direct sales forums, since that is my main bread and butter as it were.

    I believe I have internet marketing forums covered and DS forums will take some time to research; this post here and now is asking for your recommendations for your favorite/the best affiliate marketing forums out there.

    Read that part again.

    I’m not asking for Internet marketing forums with an affiliate marketing section. I’m asking for Affiliate Marketing Forums.  Yep, where the entire forum is dedicated to Affiliate Marketing…I know there are a few…

    Which do you prefer or have been referred to?

      My favorite is the warrior forum. Especially the paid section which is really cheap for a lifetime membership. I don’t know if it qualifies as dedicated to affiliate marketing but it definitely is dedicated to internet marketing. I also frequent digital point.

      Dennis Edell Reply:

      @Darrin,

      Hey Darrin, welcome to the community! Please feel free to use Darrin @ keywords as you did in the other comment. As long as your name is first, it is perfectly acceptable ;) .

      WF is most definitely IM in nature. I do go whenever I thiunk of it, and there is a lot of good info going around. Honestly though I need to leave when the egos (lots of which are not deserved) flair up to an unacceptable level.

      I’ve heard digital point can be the same way, but I haven’t seen it for myself yet.

      Darrin @ Blastoff Network Reply:

      @Dennis Edell,

      Yes the egos at WF can be a bit off putting at times. Problem I have with DP is there are a lot of scammers there. Occasionally I find some good info though.

      Outside of those 2 I haven’t really found any others that are as good.

      @Darrin,

      I prefer poker affiliate programs more to earn good revenue.
      Can you post anything about best poker leads?

      Regards.

      Please don’t discuss affiliate programs in this thread, it could lead to confusion, thanks!

      I personally like affiliatebot.com. Check it out. You might like it too.

    4. Branden - Gift Baskets Says:

      We have an affiliate program that we paid a lot of money for and still do every month but we have no sales from it. I am going to check in the forum to hopefully learn how to pick up some more affiliates. Thanks for the post.

      I’m not sure which forum you mean, but if you find good one’s be sure to return and let me know.

      Also, lease shoot me a contact email that I can store for future reference. My main business is gift related and after giving your site a quick once over I think we can do possibly do something together. :)

    5. Gary Malhi Says:

      Hey Dennis,

      Nice post you made.

      In my opinion i have to say that the warrior forums is really the best resource to find valuble information about affiliate marketing.

      You can really get some cheap stuff there that are really helpful. I enjoy the special warrior offers the most as you can get uhhhm….FANTASTIC courses there for dirt cheap costs.

      Well lets just say I almost check warriors forum on a daily base.

      Dennis Edell Reply:

      @Gary Malhi,

      Hey Gary, thanks or coming in. As I replied to Darrin, I’m always a little wary of the WF, but they do indeed have some good stuff…I’ll check back eventually.

    6. Mitch Says:

      Hi Dennis,

      I’m not sure if this fits or not, but Andrew Blake’s forum used to only be about affiliate marketing. It’s changed some, so it might be about other stuff now. I signed up, but don’t get there often, which is why I’m unsure.

      Dennis Edell Reply:

      @Mitch, Ah Blake, that was a loooong time ago for me. I’ll check back and see what’s up there. Thanks for the reminder. :)

    12. David martin Says:

      Hi Dennis
      The Wealthy Affiliate Forum gets good press from many of the ethical marketers I have come across, but it is only a paid forum so may not be a practical option for some.

      Dennis Edell Reply:

      @David martin,

      Hey David, good to see you here; welcome to the community! I’ve seen you at Josh’s, right?

      I have heard a lot recently about WA. You’re right in that it may not be the best option for most of my readers seeing how it is cost based, however I will personally check it out in the new year and possibly recommend it for those that are able.

      Thanks for the input!

      GrowMap @Internet Strategist Reply:

      @David Martin and @Dennis Edell,

      Wealthy Affiliate Forum is the one Wanda and Paula of AffiliateBlogOnline use and recommend.

      Dennis Edell Reply:

      @GrowMap @Internet Strategist,

      Also cost-based. Not really first choice for most beginners.

      GrowMap @Internet Strategist Reply:

      @Dennis Edell,

      Mitch said he doesn’t like WA because you can only read what they want you to read. I suspect that is why it probably would be the best choice for most beginners.

      Many are not making money because they’re constantly researching and reading and not acting. If you want to make money what needs to happen is to find a plan and follow it EXACTLY the way it is taught - ESPECIALLY if you’re a beginner.

      Most will never be successful because they skip important tasks that don’t make sense to them - and then they think the training didn’t work. If you’re going to follow someone’s advice you have to actually do what they recommend.

      Dennis Edell Reply:

      @GrowMap @Internet Strategist,

      At some point you must STOP reading and DO what you learned. Yes indeed, but much easier said then done for sure….that’s why we’re here though, right? ;)

      GrowMap @Internet Strategist Reply:

      @Dennis Edell,

      Absolutely! We have to determine what works, prioritize and then focus on doing it consistently.

    13. GrowMap @Internet Strategist Says:

      I included a list of Affiliate Marketing Forums in a post that ranks on the first page of Google, Yahoo and Bing. I’ll add a link to this post so my readers can see which forums your readers prefer.

      I will also check through the responses and add any good forums I may have missed. Since your CommentLuv is broken I put that link in the normal Website field to make it easy to find. Just click on the words Internet Strategist to find it.

      Dennis Edell Reply:

      @GrowMap @Internet Strategist,

      Which are the forums? Feel free to drop a link right here.

      GrowMap @Internet Strategist Reply:

      @Dennis Edell,

      That post has a bunch of affiliate forums in it. I didn’t think you’d want all those links so I linked this reply to that post and pasted what that section says (without the links) below. That way your readers know what is there and can go click on the links in the post if they’re interested.

      Rose Reply:

      @Dennis Edell, Oh I meant “keyword research”! I plan on doing freelance keyword research for affiliates and webmasters. I love the research and helping people, but I hate building sites and writing content. Seems perfect ;)
