Your Permanent Backlink Page Is Up And Running!
Update - Please see this post for final changes to the page.
As I’m sure most of you remember, I announced back in mid-December that I was installing a permanent backlink page for anyone that subscribed via email, and/or follows me on Twitter. (The possibility of two links.)
I also said it would be ready to display by the following Monday…well, it WAS but I ran into the really annoying issue of too much on my Nav. bar.
FIXED! Thanks to the awesomeness that is Jarret Cade, and his amazingly simple tutorial on how to hide navigation pages, I have done it!
Notice the Comment Policy is gone from the top…now hidden and solely linked to from within the comments (where it belongs, duh).
Btw, if “I” say super simple, you can damn well believe it. When it comes to anything code related, I’m as simple as they come (but learning more all the time). And yes, as you can tell I am quite proud of myself lol.
Thanks Jarret!
Anyhoo, click the link, check out some sites, and if you wish just follow the simple steps so you too can Join Our Followers!
Note: In an attempt to head off 136 duplicate comments, I already stated how I just started on Twitter, which is why I currently follow so few people…it will rise over time, no worries

Hey, thanks for the mention and the link back
I am glad that you were able to follow the tutorial and accomplish what you were trying to do. While I have quite a few tutorials listed on my blog dealing with WordPress I do have a website that I am currently working on that will be strictly for WordPress.
It will contain easy to follow tutorials like I have on my blog along with videos and a few other surprises. I will let you know when I get the site up and running and will make a post on my blog about it as well
If you run into any other things that you are trying to do and need help don’t be afraid to shoot me an email

lol. I haven’t checked out the tutorial that you mentioned. But one great plugin that is used to arrange navigation is the pageMash plugin which I often install for my clients. It enables you to hide or reorganize pages and you never have to get your hands dirty with code.

hey Dennis,
Thanks for the love, man! I can’t believe only 11 people have taken advantage of your incredible and generous offer, but I’m guessing that number will grow.

@ Steve - A little odd to me as well, considering I have almost 90 subscribed via email.
Eventually I may go through the list myself and add them.

hey Dennis,
And I don’t mind there only being 11!
I’d make ‘em work for it! It ain’t that hard.

This is a very good idea to attract followers Dennis. You are always coming up with something whacky..
